Sebring Sedan offers several protective safety features:
- Next Generation multistage
front air bags* reduce occupant air bag exposure; they
deploy at different levels of power depending upon the severity
of the impact. This air bag senses vehicle impact speed and seatbelt
usage, and decreases air bag output in medium and low speed impacts
enhancing occupant safety.
- Available supplemental side/curtain impact air bags*
integrated into the headliner and C-pillar trim provide enhanced
protection for front and rear outboard passengers. And, each bag
deploys independently so a left side impact deploys only the left
side airbag.
- Test-proven features such as the energy-absorbing
steering column and instrument panel
knee blockers provide supplemental restraint in frontal
impacts.
- Front seat belt pretensioners
and loadlimiters improve occupant safety.
- Front head restraints
are larger.
- Rear seat - all passengers (including rear center
passenger) have 3 point seat belts.
- Seat belt cluster tell tale
stays on after engine start until driver buckles up.
- User-ready child seat lower
anchors and top tether system - LATCH ready for all rear
seat positions.
- An inside emergency trunk lid release with glow-in-the-dark handle.
* Always use seat belts. Remember a back seat
is the safest place for children 12 and under.
